Christian-Aden Salvador Yrungaray
I had a few people ask me about his name and why it is hyphened in particular, so here is the story.
First of all Matt and I have a terrible time deciding on our boys' names. Each time we have had to decide on the final name at the last second. We had decided on a middle name months ago, but this time around it was especially hard for us to agree on a first name.
Salvador is Matt's dad's name, we couldn't think of another man that we would like our son to grow up to be like more than Grandpa Sal. He is a generous, loving, hardworking man that loves the gospel with all his heart. If all my boys grew up to be just like him I couldn't be happier! But the first name was a problem I had felt his name was supposed to be Aden since before I had even gotten pregnant, but Matt really didn't like the name so we went searching for another name we could agree on, but we kept coming up with nothing.
At the hospital we had narrowed it down to a few names (Aden not being on that list), and after praying about it we decided on Christian. We brought our beautiful baby boy home and I every time I went to call him Christian I would cry... my emotions were high after having a baby anyway, :), but it just didn't feel right to me, so after thinking about it a lot I came up with an idea. I wanted to add Aden to his name, but I didn't want to take away from the importance of his middle name so I came up with the idea to keep it part of his first name by putting the hyphen in there. Making sure that Salvador was still a prominent part of his name and his middle initial was S, with out a question (a little back ground on that , my sister Jenni has 2 middle names and always had a hard time when asked her middle initial because she had two, so I didn't want that to happen to Christian.)
So... his name is Christian-Aden Salvador Yrungaray, but he will go by Christian, except for his crazy mom (and maybe Grandma) will call him Aden when at home. I know it might sound complicated and a bit crazy, but what can I say, I'm good at being a little different ... and Matt just went along with it this time.
